You already know that your wedding day is one of the most memorable and important days of your life and you are going through a lot of work to make this day unlike any other. From the dress to rings to the flowers, you are confident that everything is going to look perfect on the day.

It is completely normal for you to have some nerves regarding being photographed on your wedding day because the day largely consists of you and your spouse being meticulously documented throughout the entire day. 1. Trust your photographer.
It is particularly important that we establish and good and healthy working relationship right from the get-go and one of the best ways for us to begin doing that is to schedule a consultation call. Consultation calls are a great way to develop trust and will be a good foundation to build a sound working relationship between us.
This in turn will translate into a shared seamless and smooth experience which will ultimately result in you looking radiant in your wedding images because you will have peace of mind about our working together and my ability to be there for you and capture those special and priceless moments during your wedding day. Another great way to develop trust between us is for you to invest in an engagement session. This is a great and fun way for us to experience working together ahead of your wedding and it also gives you an opportunity to get in front of my camera without all the crowds watching as they most certainly will be doing on your wedding day. This gives us a quiet moment to break the ice between us as well as giving us an opportunity to create beautiful and timeless images that tell the greater story of your love as whole as opposed to just your wedding day as a stand-alone event.

Oh, and another little side note: During your engagement session, you won’t need to worry about how to pose and where you should stand in order to look good in your pictures. It doesn’t matter if you have never had professional pictures done before – that’s why you have me in your corner. I will guide you throughout the session and by the end of our time together, we will have had a ton of fun while creating beautiful images that we will both love.
2. Live in the moment.
Your wedding day will be like no other and you should live in the moment and soak up every minute of it! Take the time to relish every aspect of your day, from the getting ready right through to when you make your final exit – take each one of those moments in and savour them as deeply you as you can.
Laugh as loudly as you want; cry when your emotions move you and bask in the fact that you are now married to your soulmate and that nothing could be better than that. Being real and present in the moment will lead beautifully captured images that are filled with authenticity and rich in their significance and meaning because of the moments that are captured in them. Your beauty can’t help but shine when you are fully immersed in the moment and having the time of your life – and this in turn translates into you looking every bit the beautiful bride that you are, both in real life and in your wedding photos.
3. Enjoy yourself.
I’m serious. Enjoy yourself! This may seem like a given but I have photographed enough weddings to know that weddings can often be stressful affairs – especially in the build up to the actual day – so, that is why it is of utmost importance that you enjoy the day, because that is what all of the hard work and preparation was for. Your wedding day is the time for you to enjoy the fruits of your hard work!
Have a fun little finger-foods buffet and some champagne with the girls as you are getting ready and kiss your spouse deeply at the alter! You are attending one of the most important celebrations in your life so make sure that you are having the time of your life every step of the way.
